I was looking for info on whether or not New Orleans was given grant money under the Clinton Crime Bill -- specifically for the hiring of new officers, such as the ones that maybe didn't exist -- and found this article from 2000. Sorry if it's already been discussed, but I did a search and didn't see anything.

I'm assuming this article was published after they got rid of the corruption.

I have my doubts about whether anything will come from what's been found out so far. But they're definitely afraid and using their usual tactics to get the focus off of them, as usual.
