A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day....09-29-05....In Two Storms, Same Media Morons Seen

First March for Justice, Oct 31, 1998, was my FR tipping point. My life has not been the same since!

I actually convinced my nonpolitical hubby to take me there for our 23rd anniversary. Was pretty shy back then and hung out in the "wings" BUT did shake JimR's hand, have a picture of me with MattDrudge and Lucianne. It was an awesome experience. And yes...this place has CHANGED lots of lives AND I BELIEVE...politics and the media as we know it!!!! Who would have thought!

You sound like my brother Duane. He says he doesn't like & wont eat anything that looks like a potscrubber.. (brocolli, cauliflower )

I dont like asparagus, mushrooms, okra..terrible vegetarian huh?

Oh...yum mushrooms of every kind...figured you would like the portobella veggie burger. Agree with you on okra. I LOVE gumbo WITHOUT okra. Now do you do fish or seafood????? I hate to say...I LOVE BEEF!!!!

no, I don't eat any flesh. I used to be a filet/tenderloin (beef) enthusiast & most pork.. My fav pizza was pork intense.

Mushrooms.. well it is partly an allergy situation & partly the result of a college class YEARS ago. I do a lot with soy/bean burgers. Most women would benefit w/heavy doses of soy.

Golly, waiting for the Dose (from snugs).. should be some great pix of the roberts swearing in. She is usually pretty early in posting thread. hope there is no problem w/her parents.

Still haven't made the cauliflower.. do have a headache. no doubt need food. the one banana a few hours ago isn't cutting it.

I did take doggies out for a romp in woods.

Hi, MEG!
So glad you were away from the fury of Rita, and have are having a bit of a respite in your own house.
It is mindboggling to realize how many thousands of persons are suffering as a result of not only these two storms, but all the ones that hit the Gulf and Atlantic coasts/states in the past several years.

In whole sections of Florida, for example, there are many persons still without habitable homes, waiting for insurance/government money, and/or enough construction workers to perform the repairs/rebuilding.

I doubt they see Mayor Nagin's New Orleans as "more special" than the rest of the country, and "due" total renovation.
Are we expected to replace his slum sections with houses worth $100,000?

What a pathetic mess has been created there by the Old Guard there, guarding their treaure chests, and he and Governor Blanco "demanding" help from the rest of the nation...
All gall is not in Gaul, methinks.

Hey...great to see you Sorry to say I've put off "shooting" for awhile...only because of time...BUT... after 1 1/2 years on and off of flying lessons just solo'd last weekened
Awesome experience....figure if I can be in a plane alone 500 feet above ground I can shoot a gun. That's the next step!!!! :o)
