Twelve years ago, my neighborhood was about where yours is now. Looks like all those Californians who fled to WA State to escape the invasion are going to have to move again.

Only the foolish left Cal to go to places like New Haven Connecticut, or Washington, or anywhere else for that matter. Their homes doubled and tripled in value and now they are faced with the same illegal aliens, plus frigged, icy winters.

Ouch!

Our winters in seattle aren't particularly frigid or icy; snow is uncommon, and rarely lasts more than a day or two. Rainy, yes, but frigid, no. But it's great for people who find hot weather oppressive; summer temps are mostly in the 70s and low 80s rather than the 90s or 100s.

Doesn't look like the influx of illegals has affected property values. Housing in California and Northern Virginia is, along with the NYC area, the most expensive in America. Meanwhile, you can live with a bunch of white folk in West Virginia or Alabama, but don't expect your house to appreciate much.
