Then, of course, if the beating doesn't work to subdue their female slaves, there are the next two Muslim alternatives: divorce and "honor" killings.
He can simply perform a self-declared divorce by saying "I divorce you." Then he abandons her for a more submissive slave.
But, if he is of a more vindictive nature as most of them are, he can arrange for an "honor killing." Anything done by her, or to her, that reflects on his supposed honor is justification for killing her under Islamic law. This has actually been done. Arrange for a friend to rape her. She cannot deny it because the testimony of a man, under Islamic law, carries twice the weight of a woman's testimony. Then he can legally kill her because she is no longer a "pure" wife and is an affront to his honor.
Islam is truly a religion made in hell.
