What's your most detested TV Ad?
Some tv ads are really funny; for example, the Vonage ads crack me up, because they are so stupid.

Many TV ads are very irritating, I'm sure you agree.
Soooo, I ask the question of you "Where's the Beef" with you?

My particular bane is; A couple in their kitchen,
the happy wife is chopping veggies
hubby is at the table reading the paper, or day dreaming.
Mrs. takes the chopped veggies, dumps them into the garbage disposal, runs the motor to chop the veggies,
THEN she scoops out the minced mess and serves it to hubby!
Gads, this is gastly!

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our

Military, our Allies and their families.

Thank you, Ms. Feather, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities.

The one (two) I hate most has to be the Vontage commercials. Mainly because I find the music MOST ANNOYING! The other "one" is the one where the wife is "blending" up a drink in the garbage disposal. Now, here's a message to whoever made THAT commercial...........I don't even remember the company the commercial is for. All I can remember is how disgusting it is to watch her! YUCK!

I have an announcement. Now, I normally would do this by FReepmail, but I want my military fans to be aware that if I've gone missing for a few days, they'll know where I am.

This is an update on Celticlass.

That is Celticlass on the left (next to her is Uncleshag, I'm on the right. This was when we on our way back from Florida in July)

Right now, it does not look good for her. Today, her son and DIL are planning on going to NIH (National Institutes of Health) to find out if NIH will accept Celticlass for treatment. Thus, if I'm missing from the Canteen in the near future, know that even though I will be missing the Canteen family, I need to be with Celticlass and her family through this.

To all you newbies and lurkers

I must be off soon. Lots still to do. But, remember............

Good morning Canteeners, Cubies, Newbies and Troops! Another beautiful day on the way here in the DC area, wishing I could play hookey and head for Ocean City! I find the referee recruitment ads for Miller beer (I think) are really stupid; it's the only one I know of now because my TV viewing is limited to football or C-Span. Have a great day, everyone, will be peekingin from time to time.
