Yeah, and she walks on water and through solid objects too.

More "Title nine" BS applied to our operating forces by the feminazis and gender equalist "mo runes".

I hope she can preform to spec and that some grunts do not pay the ultimate price for this PC cr@p.

Flame away

BTW I love the A-10.

Things can happen to a woman that don't happen to men.

Captured men have been beaten, tortured and raped. What can happen to a woman that can not happen to a man?

The grunts on the ground LOVE the A-10 and want it kept in the inventory for a good long time.

Way back when we preferred to have one A-1 Skyraider over half a dozen Phantoms or F-105s. The old Spad could take a lot of punishment and hang around a long time while the jets had to run it, drop and run home.

Women are more likely to get infections than men. If antibiotics were available over-the-counter, they would not need to go to Sick Bay as frequently.

My next door neighbor's son is a crew chief in the 354th. He just rotated over there, but we're not sure where yet. His family is still waiting to hear from him.

I hear ya, R. Scott:

The A-1 Skyraider, or Spad (Single Place AD) was a fantastic COIN (Counter-Interdiction) aircaft. Humungous recip and prop. Hard points from wing tip to wing tip, plus the centerline. 20mm cannons in the wings, instead of .50 calibers. The type of plane that could take abuse all day long and still be forgiving.

The Military is always going to need one, and the A-10 is its direct descendant. A hard-core, robust Bare Base machine.

I know many guys who were A-10 Crew Chiefs during Desert Storm. Once the grunts found out who these guys were, they lacked for nothing!

Jack.

If I ever run into a Spad jockey, I’ll but him a beer.

my unit will be retiring its F-16's and tradin' 'em in for A-10's as a result of the BRAC

Isn't it ironical? The USAF has been trying to rid itself of the A-10 for years, but, like the Energizer Bunny and the B-52, it just keeps on ticking.
