They are illegally here. If they get hit by a hurricane while they are illegally in the area, what rights should they have to stay illegally?
If someone breaks into my house and then trips on my bad stair, I suppose there are lawsuits which could decide whether I am liable for their treatment.
But I've never heard ANYONE argue that the burglar would have the right to STAY IN MY HOUSE!!!!!

I would like it if the message got out to those who are illegals: If you are here illegally and Katrina destroyed your home, you should go home to your real country now 'cause the gravy train ran out of fuel. No paper, no profit.
Somehow "illegal alien" has come to mean in the minds of those who are, "emergency aid".
Emergency aid means you get a cot for a few weeks if needed, a daily shower (hopefully), some free phones and maybe an internet connection and some basic meals, maybe access to emergency medications/triage by an E.R. doctor.
But it doesn't mean you are a citizen if you're here illegally. How people confuse that, is anyone's guess.

Yeah, but if he's illegal, you just might see such a ruling. How about the story from a few weeks ago about illegals being awarded some rancher's land because he roughed them up? Keep those doors locked and the alarms hooked up friend.

The only "rights" illegal aliens have is an express trip to the border of their choice... well, unless El Presidente Bush gets another amnesty passed.
All that did is that ranchers now probably bury the bodies somewhere where they're not found. Or add pigs to their livestock...
Give them basic humanitarian aid and give it while they're being sent home.
