MSNBC Cuts-off Delay During Statement
PMSNBC | 9/28/05

Posted on 09/28/2005 12:02:57 PM PDT by pabianice

During Delay's statement on his indictment by Presecutor Earle, MSNBC cut away for some "analysis." MSNBC had plenty of time to broadcast Earle * but somehow not enough for Delay's reply. Cut to Buchanan for him to say that Delay's career is 'dead' and that 'the Republicans are in real trouble' and are at 'a tipping point.' Then cut to another analyst who states that 'Republican control of Congress is over.'

"MSNBC: We Twist the News and We're Proud of It!"

* Earle stated that he would give Delay a fair and impartial trial, and then he would hang him.

And .. these are the tolerant, kind and caring people who want to get elected in 2006.

Ain't gonna happen. As usual .. the dems will overextend themselves and end up shooting themselves in the foot.

According to Mark Levin .. this indictment is a joke.

I agree with Mark .. and I believe it has everything to do with the redistricting in TX - you remember that - all those dems who ran off to other states because they didn't want to vote their own demise. The leader of that pack was Martin Frost - who sent his staff member into DeLay's office and STOLE DeLay's plans for redistricting - and the guy was caught on video. Needless to say Frost didn't win re-election (or he was forced out by the redistricting) - which has evidently made him a little testy. He was quite a site on FOX this morning.

Anyway .. let them all bloviate and bluster .. just like they always do .. and then little by little the truth will filter out on TALK RADIO and THE INTERNET and the dems will have shot themselves in the foot one more time.

The new talking point: "... repubs are plagued by a culture of corruption ...".

This is the MSM, remember? Its the seriousness of the charge that matters. The template they work from is DeLay is politically dead and the GOP Era is over.

After former President Bush reneged on his "no new taxes" pledge, I attended a Buchanan primary fundraiser and met him. He seemed sane and reasonable back then.

I read his autobiography "Right From the Beginning" and in it I saw the same urban ethnic Catholic social conservatism that I grew up in, a defense of proactive Reaganesque foreign policy and a defense of the free market.

I have watched him abandon his emphasis on social conservatism, attack a strong American presence on the world stage and embrace Communists and communism like Lenora Fulani.

It's pathetic and disgraceful.

Fox tends to be in sync with the rest of the media when a story first breaks. Then they seem to be reminded that they are a conservative network and they shape up. Also, conservatives are slower getting their side of the story out.

Of course not. They claim to be impartial. Yet the truth is the news is just a product.

When Pat shared a ticket with a Commie, I realized he had a screw loose.

He lost it when he adopted the bizarre right-wing multi-culturalism of the neo-paloe-conservatives. Actually, his ideology is probably closer to hers.

Pardon us but we don't think anyone from Jersey would know anything about ethics. I'll match our Texas delegation against the collection of crooks NJ sends to DC any day.

What has happened to him, is he that bitter about losing; it appears he is gleeful anytime anything goes against Dubya or any pubbie in office. When he is on Imus some of his comments are disgraceful, outright hateful and full of spite.

I agree. I'm not going to get my panties in a wad over this. If he is clean then he will come out clean. If not, he won't. But there is a part of me that wouldn't put it past our Texas Dims to make up stuff ala Dan Rather. They are truly stinkers down here. Okay, they are that way everywhere. I wish when ours left the state last year they would have stayed away.

Mommy, why are there Commies in my TV set?

Oh no son, those aren't Commies, real Commies live in Russia and Cuba. These people in the media are just wannabes and appeasers who imitate all they have learned from books and movies made in Hollywood, now run along son.

The only shows worth watching every nite are Cavuto, Gibson and of course Brit. I'll will resume watching H/C during the 2008 election cycle to see Sean and Allan go crazy.
