The great one calls this what it is, a disgrace. Democrats like Earle have proven they will abuse the power of office to strike against political opponents. That is not rule of law, it is more like the SS.

For years I have insisted that the democrats hate the republicans like the nazis hated the jews.
We have the same thing going on here in KY. The democratic attorney general is going after the Republican govenor and his administration. Basically it is related to hiring of merit employees. The law is vague and the dems have done the same thing for years. But let us get the first republican govenor in 40 years, and all of a sudden, its a crime. Our govenor (Fletcher) pardoned everyone, even for future indictments. Of course the dem AG just keeps the grand jury going. Eventually they will probably indict the govenor himself.
What has happened is the logical extension of judicial activism. If the judges can get away with making their own law based on what they want the world to look like why cant a district attorney do so too? After all we all know that an attorney is just a juvenile form of a judge, arent they? (For proof of statement try to identify the total number of judges who arent members of the Bar and hold law degrees.)
