Agreed. I ran out of TP this morning. Hit my FEMA button and nothing happened. Must be Bush's fault.

Thank you for the info...

That, to me, looks more like hard proof that Earle is being partisan, at least on this issue. For that, he should be ashamed.

On the other hand, I would have to say that what DeLay is accused of is awfully close to money-laundering and I would not describe it as ethical. I would like to see someone prosecute BOTH parties when they do this and clean up congress.

Unfortunately, ethics and politics are polar opposites nowadays for the vast majority of politicians.

Oh please....It's way overdue for the voters to let the pubs know they've been in power for years!

They just sit and allow the dimwits to rule the roost and I'm sick & tired of it! I'm not talking about this Delay incident.

It may just take a shakeup in elections to point this out to them.

I go months without talking to my brother, and when we do we rarely discuss his work or my work.

So I don't find it hard at all to believe his brother didn't call him up and warn him about his stock.

Plus, most people are NOT criminals. Every corporate officer is well-represented by lawyers who tell them what they can do. It doesn't make sense that such people would violate the law to get stock sold by a public official who certainly knows that every tiny little thing will be looked over with a microscope.

My employer requires me to take tests each year covering ethics issues like insider trading. And I'm a nobody -- every employee goes through the same training.

I have no direct evidence one way or another, but I find it quite believable that the drop in stock price something that Frist had no idea about.

Now, whether Frist selling his stock could have been a catalyst to cause a selloff, I don't know. But that wouldn't be a crime.

"WTH are they doing!?"

It's very simple. They are trying to deflect the massive charges of corruption that are about to come down on their own Lousiana politicians. They do it everytime.

Isn't that rather sado-masochistic? We shake things up to harm ourselves?

My brother's ex does it all the time.

I have no doubt if the Republicans would actually play dirty we could take down over 50% of the Democrats in this country for SOMETHING. Question we have to ask is, are 50%+ of ours cleaner than clean ;) The Dems have the media on their side...

This is as much BS as the NG Memos. Their whole case is that Delay used money that was paid to a fund raiser for redistricting was sent to Washington and then sent to local Texas campaigns (as I understand it, it was one specific check(attached to the indictment)). How are they ever going to prove that the funds from that check is what was sent to Washington and then prove that those same dollars were sent back to Texas. That is like trying to prove that one specific rain drop that fell in July is now in your ice cube.

Not from my viewpoint.

The pubs allow the dimwits to run
roughshod over them all the time.

I do think Delay will give the dummies a
run for their money. I can't say that
about very many pubs.

As far as your examples, those that believed Clinton guilty where Republicans and the left whether they believed him guilty or not did not waiver in their support.

As for the campaign finance irregularities they GAVE BACK the money to the Chinese and the Monks so that was an admission, whether their was an indictment or not.

So my response of calling you an idiot must be accurate. Show me where I threw in the towel. As far as Frist goes you brought him up--I didn't, but since you did I commented on what I thought. And based on the evidence I heard I think he's guilty of at least lying/misleading about his blind trust. I'm being intellectually honest. I thought the clintons were guilty of the list of items I mentioned based on the evidence I heard and I feel the same about Frist. NOTE: I have never thought Delay was guilty, but you seem to think I threw in the towel. So now prove you aren't an idiot and show me where I threw in the towel.

"Roy Blount is what I heard."

Dreier is the first name I heard, then Blount. I know nothing about Blount other than, according to another poster, he is supposed to be "next in line".

Kos and Krew are trying to push the Lib's talking point of "uh, Earle indicted Dems before, therefore Delay is guilty". LMAO!!! Why let the facts get in the way, Libtards? It has never stopped you before (e.g. 2000 election, 2004 Ohio, Diebold, Downing Street, Dynamited levees, etc.).

Hey, Dan Rather did news reports on Dems before, therefore, Bush must have skipped out on the Natl Guard!!! Great logic. NOT!!!!

This will be another bogus 'scandal' that will blow up in the Dims faces and expose them as the dysfunctional morons that they are.
