Read this article!
I will certainly ping you!
Nice day here --- I'd say maybe 80-85 but with a much lower humidity. Almost pleasant outside.
Not in Texas, Ill bet. But maybe at the federal level..
Excellent. Thank you. Going to that link right now.
LOL, nice try.
From this article, he has turned his blind eye to the Democrats maneuvering:
Take a look at the money on Dems' side, Mr. Earle (DeLay PAC indictments)
For the benefit of the Travis County district attorney, here are some examples of how soft and hard money have flowed on the Democratic side over the past few years:
On Oct. 31, 2002, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $75,000 of hard money. The same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $75,000 of soft money.
On July 19, 2001, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $50,000 of hard money. The same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $60,000 of soft money.
On June 8, 2001, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $50,000 of hard money. The same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $60,000 of soft money.
On May 14, 2001, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $50,000 of hard money. The same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $60,000 of soft money.
On Sept. 1, 1999, the Texas Democratic Party sent the DNC $50,000 of hard money. The same day, the DNC sent the Texas Democratic Party $60,000 of soft money.
Mr. Earle, call your office: Your state party has a few things they'd like to discuss. Oh, and by the way: When can we expect your office to indict the Democrats on these same "infractions"?
There is another article about Earle's shakedown of companies under investigation until they donate funds to some California school for his pet research project:
Ronnie Earle's Shakedown (Dirty prosecutor trying to get DeLay)
Got a link? Good stuff.
Yes, and if you don't know that you have been asleep for the last 5 years.
From that linked article:
"EARLE'S LAST FORAY INTO politicized prosecution in 1993 turned into a huge embarrassment when he went after Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), who was then Texas Treasurer. Earle made a series of trumped-up charges, including that the demure Hutchison had physically assaulted an employee. Earle dropped the case during the trial."
Badading!
According to a new thread...
MSNBC cut away from Delay's speech, after showing all of Earles....
Pat Buchanan has declared Delay DEAD,,,and the Republican party in real trouble....
I thought those were two descriptions for Buchanan's career in politics...LOL
Maybe so. The voters "could" decide to dump Earle, but it's Austin.
The other theory that Hasstert doesn't want this to look like a permanent position is good too. Maybe both were taken into consideration.
I think it all points to getting and keeping seats in 06 though.
Oh, how fitting for the Patster. Envious loser that he is.
He is a leader, and a leader behaves in a different manner than just a Representative.
Bottom Line-
I've barely gotten here and already read in various threads some people stating this could be "good" or advocating preferred people to replace Delay. My response?
Get the hell of the board and go to DU.
We're not Liberals. We're not Democrats. While most don't seem to be engaging in it, those that are, are as immoral as Earle or Pelosi.
This is not how you take out political opponents. Not by my book at any rate and I'm solidly declaring myself in Delay's corner.
That and the fact that DeLay waived the statue of limitations. If he hadn't, Earle couldn't have even presented this to the grand jury. Earle and the dims are lower than snakes bellies.
I can't find fault with your thinking. I know that Drier is the chair of the rules committee and Hastert might think that will also help. Heck, for all we know, DeLay might want Drier to fill-in temporarily.
