House Majority Leader Tom DeLay indicted on one count of criminal conspiracy by Texas grand jury, according to Travis County clerk's office.
Specific examples of Democrats he has prosecuted please? I keep hearing this claim, I have yet to see any credible evidence to back it up. Source please?

This was done in a very liberal area in Texas. Austin is Berkely on the Brazos (or on the Colorado). Facts get in the way of what dims want to do.

I don't know what you mean about "level". This is a COUNTY prosecuter, not some federal DA. He is going after a few thousand dollars of campaign donations, something that usually is handled at a federal level by the FEC with fines.
His "charge" against DeLay is conspiracy, suggesting that DeLay had some conversation with someone where they talked about a fundraiser, knowing that there was something illegal about it.
This was the ONLY thing he could charge DeLay for, because any actual election code violations would have to be tried in DeLay's county, and that prosecuter had no interest in wasting his time.
Conspiracy is a state charge which the travis county DA could do something about.
Imagine your local county prosecuter finding someone illegally sent money to Nancy Pelosi, and then bringing her up on conspiracy charges because he hates democrats.
Lousy though this is, several good things could come out of it. For one thing, maybe it might finally take the spotlight off of the Sheehan/Bush epic saga, as the far left have sensed a new drop of blood to start a feeding frenzy around. Second, once Delay is found not guilty, as will probably be the case, just imagine what a great time we'll have listening to those same lefties wail and cry: "Curses, foiled again!"
