Here Here, it is time for real conservatives to step up and say what needs to be said, Democrats will us every dirty trick in the book to bring down a good conservative and Earl has a track record of partisan witch hunts, I am sick and tired of watch us roll up into a ball and suck out thumbs when Democrats and the media engage in their dirty tricks.
Let's see what Ronnie Earle has first.
That's exactly how I see it. This is just too much. Hopefully the public will see how ridiculous it is in the collective. They may have been able to take down one guy with false charges, but their greed may make most people tune out.
Ya know .. you remind me of someone .. I just can't figure it out who

ACU rating of 92. I can live with that
Thanks! That is good to know.
Unless the person as 100% rating, anything under 100% is a rino..
I seem to recall that the loonie dems from that area were also the one's involved with the fake douments in the Dan Rather versus Bloggers scandal.
Hastert is nominating or suggesting or recommending Drier to the House GOP.Denny needs to have his head examined.
Agreed.
Oh, I'm sure a lot of members would bend over backwards for Drier.
That's the problem.
We need new (RSC) leadership.
Are you talking about the moderates and RINOs here or the Dems? ;)
Wooo~hooo! There's a man that doesn't mince words.
Ronnie Earle even said last week he doesn't have jurisdiction to nail DeLay at this juncture. Earle is a Travis County (Austin) District Attorney. He & the GJ has no jurisdiction over DeLay who lives in Harris (Houston) County.
Is this true? Can someone in the know confirm this?

Beats me. But, they are reporting that Hastert will be recommending Dreier (it's not a done deal until the GOP caucus votes) so I'm guessing it's because Hastert expects Dreier to be the most pliant, and to stave off the House conservatives. Before, I would've guessed Roy Blunt would step up if DeLay resigned.
Yeah. I don't mind FReepers who complain as much as some people do. But I don't like phonies who pose as something they are not. No true Republican would be elated over this, even if they think he is guilty.
Really? Wow, I guess that's why Kay Bailey Hutchinson is in jail now instead of in the Senate...OOPS, YOUR MISTAKE, she is in the Senate isn't she, and this same persecutor er prosecutor once indicted Senator Hutchinson.
Hhmmm..
Not thrilled with DD from CA..but it's probably not a good time for Rep's in the House to have a huge fight over replacement for him-
I couldn't agree more. Just suggesting Drier is suspect and should set off alarm bells.
The Dems..
Listen to Juliet --- Ronnie has been trying to manufacture charges against GOP for years (three years).
This is democrat thuggery.
We've now escalated politics into the court house and it does not belong there.
See? Democrats lose at the ballot box -- so trump up charges and get an indictment knowing that DeLay HAS to step down.
