'Gods and Generals' was a miserable experience. The movie just didn't click like 'Gettysburg' did.

Stephen Lang did a very credible job of portraying Stonewall Jackson and should have received an Oscar nomination at the very least.

Boy, you hit that on the head. "Gettysburg" was not half bad, but..."Gods and Generals" was disappointing.

'Gods and Generals' was a miserable experience.

It had some really good parts, but over all, it was excruciating slow and unnecessarily long. I was really looking forward to it but I was disappointed as heck.

Never saw it because it seemed too long for me....

A good war movie that I saw, and was surprised at it was "Enemy At the Gates". Its about two Snipers trying to kill each other during the battle for Stalingrad. I thought it was a hell of a war movie..
