Religion, believe what you want.

The point that Evolution is a Religion is that there is a lot of faith being put into something where there are millions of other of potential solutions.

I agree there are many who put blind faith in evolution. I'm inclined to think that evolution is basically right, though I don't personally believe in it as a matter of faith, nor do I think that it is particularly important or useful, nor do I think it is a proper science (because it is not based on repeatable experiments and well defined measurements etc). I am not upset at all by seeing explanations and/or evidence to the contrary.

The similarity of DNA among the species, like between chimps and humans does not seem to have any other reasonable explanation I am aware of, although I am certainly open to hearing about them.
