The former vice chairman of the state Republican Party was indicted Tuesday on federal money laundering and obstruction of justice charges for allegedly offering to "cleanse" drug proceeds for a client.
Lawrence Novak, 54, a Brockton lawyer, resigned as head of the state GOP earlier this month when he was arrested at his home in connection to the charges. He was later released on bond.
According to the indictment and other court documents, Novak filed false and misleading documents in state court in an attempt to invalidate a client's prior state court convictions.

In Blue states, it is very difficult to keep the Liberal wierdos out of the Republican Party.
Just goes to show you. In Massachusetts the liberal corruption is irreversable. You would have to just level the state and start from scratch - after the Superfund cleanup to be sure that the liberalism wasn't still in the groundwater.
