Burbank -- The oldest daughter of the wife of Robert Blake testified Tuesday that her mother took a fertility drug instead of birth control pills before the birth of the couple's daughter, Rosie.
Bakley's children are suing Blake, saying the "Baretta" star was responsible for their mother's death. Bakley was shot and killed in Blake's car outside a restaurant in May 2001.
Blake was charged with Bakley's death but a jury acquitted him of murder in March.
Holly Gawron, 25, testified that her mother said to her, "I told him I was on the pill. I just didn't say what pill."

As every man knows or should know...when a woman says shes on the pill use a condom anyway cause women lie like a rug or get a snip snip like i did

No you are not alone. I watched it on court tv. As crazy as Blake came off, I still had sympathy for him. He seems to truly love his daughter.

I know too many women who were "on the Pill" (or whatever) and still got pregnant.

That was my take also.
Interesting strategy by the plaintiff's lawyer. I doubt this is something that will benefit them by coming out.
An article in the current Psychology Today says that a study showed over one third of college females admitted lying about being on birth control to men who had "attractive qualities". If one third of college girls would lie trying to get pregnant intentionally, you have to wonder what percentage of older females more desperate for marriage do. They went on to say over 50% of births in the U.S. are attributed as unintentional.
Which reminds me of the crude joke: "If it flies, floats, or f***s, RENT IT!"

What gets me here is that Blake ostensibly offed her because she got pregnant and he didn't want children. Then the kid (little girl) is born. All of a sudden the kid is the apple of his eye that he loves more than anything. So, he's now happy with the outcome of the pregnancy, yet still finds the need to bump his wife off because she wanted the very kid he now claims he loves so much. So he killed her why? Because now his needs shifted. Now he wanted the burden of the kid, but didn't want the burden of her to go along with the kid. Nice guy, wouldn't you say?
