I wonder if the MSM will give a eulogy as big as it's promotion of this failed network.

Only if they can find a way to blame it on evil Clear Channel Communications or the FCC of the evil Bush Administration for not handing them the most popular stations.

"I want to see them go under - but not without a full public airing of the funding scandals."

Even the volume of venom many liberals are consumed by today, it's no surprise that an all-hate-all-the-time radio network wouldn't thrive in this country.

What is a shame, though, is that because they share the same objectives as the rest of the media and the loudmouth celebrities who think just because they can perform that they are also enlightened most of America, who still get their current events education from such ridiculous sources as these, will never hear about why the corrupt-smart-alack-network disappeared.

"When you can't get any more contributions and stations are dropping you like a bad habit, just say to yourself, 'I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me!'"

That is a really great post. Thanks!

That's one big difference between them and us. They buy the MSM's rose colored glasses fabricated stories about how everything is going great at Air America ( and other things in life ), then are constantly surprised and shocked when they tune in and the AA station is suddenly playing easy listening, Spanish programs, or Sports radio. They never saw it coming. After keeping informed by wading through the rivers of information slime to find the truth, our only question is what took so long. It's too hard of a task for them to do.

Don't forget the other funding scandal that AA never was held to account for, and probably never will be. When some stations started, many complained to their advertisers about their choice of AA to spend their sales dollars. Only thing was the advertisers never contracted with AA to place their ads. AA stole previous ad contracts on the stations they took over, Contracts that were set under the station's previous format. GM was one advertiser. They yanked their ads. Not sure if was a case of the advertisers not watching their contracts close enough or them just wanting to separate from AA without upsetting the leftists.

"Todays" Democrats, ain't got the stayin' power.

They don't have the stamina to..."overcome"...in
anything that isn't a "quickie".

All that "Free Love"...has had it's consequences.

Of course not, you won't hear a peep. Or, if you do they will blame the Rove machine for Err America's demise.

Actually they have been sounding quite happy over there lately...

They must have finally realized that they can steal enough money from katrina relief that was meant for poor black kids to pay the drunk fat pig his one million salary.

Might even give him a raise for his 'stupendous' ratings

It's "the competition that keeps Rush awake at night."

Laughing.

AirHeadsAmerica is tremedously funny.

They're mad at the democratic party lefties for being too conservative.
