I have no clinical standing, but it has been my observation that there are many factors that lead to liberalism. Broadly speaking, the benign end of that scale is naivety and inexperience (the young liberal), the extreme malignant end is evil that seeks to devour and destroy. There is a broad spectrum in between, with the most obnoxious form of liberal (the arrogant, condescending know-it-all) being a combination of narcissism (sp? - sorry, its late), lack of empathy, and, oddly enough, low imaginative function. So what are the extremes of that set? Can you have a single diagnosis for an autistic sociopath narcissist?
