How will it go away if these get benefits they don't get from their home country? These criminals are a disgusting lot of parasites. Yeah they work hard, to send money out of the country never to return all while evading taxes, sucking the taxpayers' nipple dry, and eroding out culture and language.

The destinations of new immigrants have broadened, the report noted. A smaller share now heads for the traditional gateways of New York and California, the study said, while more now go to "new settlement states" such as Georgia, North Carolina, Iowa, Utah and Delaware. Good news for Cal!
I am hearing from those in other states, states that were untouched by this open border mess just a few years back. It's a completely different story now!

Did Clinton do better? Nope but no one who voted for him expected him to do better.Did Reagan? Nope but Reagan did not have a republican House and Senate.
Saying it's Bush's fault is silly and agenda driven. Bush announced an amnesty program the first part of his administration, and has talked it up ever since.

more [illegals] now go to "new settlement states" such as Georgia, North Carolina, Iowa, Utah and Delaware. They'll do fine in North Carolina, Iowa, Utah etc.
One slight change so we can use the most current euphemism for Georgia, North Carolina, Iowa, Utah and Delaware.
They'll do fine in North Carolina, Iowa, Utah etc. the "new settlement states".

No, we have a thriving economy to thank for this. Um...no.
The economy was as good if not better in the 90's...from the article..."Fewer legal immigrants arrived in 2003 and 2004 than in the mid-1990s, the study said, while the number of new illegal immigrants has settled back to about the same level as in the mid-1990s."
See, you and your OBL crowd are proven LIARS! Illegals OUTSTRIPPED Legals, thanks to Jorge Arbusto's BLINDNESS to our border! I don't care what level the ILLEGALS are at...one is too many!
See, we ain't DRINKING your Kool-Aid anymore! America has awakened from the roofie slumber that you OBL morons have induced!
Time to close the borders to ILLEGAL immigration!

"How did those work out?"
Very well, actually. One caused something like an 80% drop in the attempted entries in its zone (which was extremely popular prior to the operation due to its hospitable conditions), and the other worked out quite well also. For actual numbers, Google is your friend. The long and short of it is that illegals were so dissuaded from even trying to cross in those zones because of the enforcement that they took to the extremely dangerous and inhospitable mountains and deserts.
"Is it a problem, yes. Is it Bush's fault, no."
Is it entirely President Bush's fault? No.
Did the problem begin under President Bush? No.
Has President Bush been helpful in solving the problem? No.
Has President Bush made the problem worse with speeches and policy moves? Yes.
He's had the higher-ups disallowing the guys on the ground from doing their jobs in rounding up and deporting illegals, his speeches give aid and comfort to illegals who are here or thinking of coming here, and his failure to act to stop illegal immigration is but icing on the cake.

Bush announced an amnesty program the first part of his administrationFalse. Source it.
Reagan signed an amnesty, a Republican House and Senate was not a factor.

more [illegals] now go to "new settlement states" such as Georgia, North Carolina, Iowa, Utah and Delaware. I recall just ten years it seemed it was only the southwest.
All those that took off to avoid it must be steaming about now. As part of my job, I speak with lots of people, all over the place. It's everywhere now.

If mexico declared war on us would we give their invaders drivers' licenses, medication, education, safe harbor, ESL, and every other nonsensical benefit?
Think of it this way for you average car wash employee who runs the border and have 3 or 4 kids:
1. Probably pays zero proeprty taxes to fund school system. Averaqe student per cost is about 10K per year. That's at least a net loss of 20 - 30 k per year.
2. The illegal who works for cash sends it home. The money is gone for good other than for use at the local bodega. Net loss to taxpayer.
3. EMTALA forces hospitals to cover these people. Who do you think pays these bills? Net loss to the taxpayer.
4. Many of these invaders drive with no license. When one gets drunk kills someone who do you think pays?
5. When one of these criminals kills a woman or steals a car, we pay on average 25k per year per inmate - who pays?
6. The stats show that 95 of outstanding murder warrants in LA are for illegals. Doing the murders we don't want to do???
There are two types of people who support this nonsense:
1. Those who profit personally from illegal immigration; and
2. Those who wish to profit personally from illegal immigration.

.....you said: We have a guest worker program, it's covered under legal immigration.
I said...Huh? you mean, that the people who snuck in here and are getting paid "under-the-table" and are being paid using the social security number of another person which is provided to them by their employer who wants to keep this "under-the-table" is all secure and accounted for?

One of those wonderful Lewis and Clark like people raped and killed a homeowner and then taunted the husband on the wife's cell phone not five minutes from where I live.
Until you see it happen in your hood, you are blind and/or willfully ignorant of the rabble that has come here.

Sourced.
Please don't bother claiming it's not amnesty, lest I have to take yet
another trip over to Merriam-Webster's site to quote the definition of amnesty.
