ABC insiders deny there's any connection between real-life presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and their new TV show "Commander in Chief" - where Geena Davis makes her debut tonight as America's first woman president.
But it turns out the show's lead writer is a longtime Clinton campaign insider who held a top job in Hillary's press office.
"Writer Steve Cohen used to work for her in the 1990s, serving as the then-first lady's deputy communications director," reports the Village Voice.
"I have no doubt she is capable, qualified, and ready to be the president of the United States should she choose to run," Hillary's scriptwriter tells the paper.
In fact, Mr. Cohen goes all the way back with the Clintons to their very first presidential campaign. "I was Governor Clinton's first campaign volunteer in 1991, fresh out of college, took that journey to the White House and spent two years working for President Clinton in his press office," he told National Public Radio last year.

Well then .......... maybe he can write into the story line of the Lady Prez the true story of Hillary -- that being that the origin of all her pent-up rage is the old incident of her father giving her a radio and a toaster as bath toys when she was five years old.
Isn't this an in kind campaign contribution?
Haven't seen it nor do I want to. The idea of indoctrinating the masses by H'wierd in furthering Hitlery's plans to take the White House is nauseating and bad taste regardless of who's the actress.
What happened to the BARF alert?
Sounds like this show will be as "impartial" as that wretched _American President_ movie from a few years ago.
I'll barf now.
I'm shocked.
They did the same thing under Clinton when Rob Reiner made the puff piece, "An American President" that was a standing piece to honor Bill and get Americans to feel good about the ole boy before re-election.
I remember walking past a theater in NY stating it.
I think the only thing that can be done is to boycott the show and make the sponsors aware of your displeasure with it.

It won't help!
Plus, another tv show that was written by the husband and wife team about 3 mature (not Golden Girls) women (one was Dixie Carter, one was a former (somewhat heavy now) beauty queen, and the other played w/Goldie Hawn in "Protocol". This husband and wife team were heavily involved in the clintoon election.

Not surprising -- the Heinous Harridan has her tentacles everywhere! She will stop at nothing to attain her goal of being the next Evita.
I have thought from day one "Commander in Chief" was propoganda developed by ABC to precondition the sheeple for a woman president. This little tidbit does nothing to lesson my concern in this regard.
"Impartial MSM doing groundwork for next Clinton Election."
Yep. No one can accuse them of being too subtle! It is interesting how arrogant Left becomes in matters like this. They know the MSM will never say anything about it, so they don't avoid these blatantly obvious connections. Presumably, this guy got the job, because he knows enough about Hillary to create a fictional female president that will remind us of her.
Imagine the MSM reaction to a similar story about someone on the Republican side. I liken this contrast between the Republican and Democrat situation as the difference between two armies there fighting, one with artillery, one without. If you are in the army without artillery, you learn to take cover, constantly and move cautiously.
