Hmmm. Can President Bush run in the next election as a VP candidate? (for Cheney) Does the 2-term limit mean 'elected'?

I believe it forbids being elected for more than two terms.

The VP must meet the same critera/restrictions as the President. The term limit for Presidents also applies to running as VP.

I know you mean well but no, he isn't qualified because the VP must be able to serve as President and the two term limit prevents GW from moving up if Cheney is disabled. The good news is, the same applies to slick as hillery's Veep! No can do!

Bush can run again, he was "selected", not elected, remember?
