I hope this is the right place. Thanks in advance for any help. Just installed a new ASUS board, A8V Deluxe and an AMD Athlon 64 processor ( 3500+ ), 2 Gig RAM.
Now have 3 problems, after working out the rest. Googled several pages on each, no suggestions helped.
1) In safe mode, only get black screen with the words "safe mode" in every corner.
2) Just after start up, I get a "Work Offline" box. Have DSL. Tried every setting but it doesn't seem to be dial up, LAN, Outlook, or file settings causing it.
3) Have Adware I can't get rid of, VirtuMonde. All files and registry settings that the help site suggest don't exist on my computer.
