HBO "Real Time" host Bill Maher compared First Lady Laura Bush to "Hitler's dog" during his Friday night cablecast, after flashing a parody photo of Mrs. Bush with a black eye, as if she'd been a victim of domestic abuse.
After the photo display, Maher was challenged by guest panelist Christopher Hitchens, who told him: "It must be to [George Bush's] credit he got Laura Bush to marry him. She's an absolutely extraordinary woman."
To that, Maher replied: "Oh, come on. That's like Hitler's dog loved him. That is the silliest reason. ..."
"I think tomorrow you might be sorry you said that. Laura Bush is very gentle and talented," Hitchens warned.
With that Maher retreated a bit, insisting: "That's not what I'm saying, of course she is. But the idea that we somehow humanize any person because somebody else loves them is
ridiculous."
The outrageous exchange, reported exclusively by NewsMax contributor Steve Malzberg in his latest column, "Laura Bush and Hitler's Dog" - wasn't the worst to come from Maher's show lately.
The week before, "Real Time" guest George Carlin announced that he had a pet name for former first lady Barbara Bush.
"The Silver D - - - - e bag, I call her," Carlin announced as Maher's audience erupted in laughter.

That's really not funny. Not even a little bit. It's not even stupid funny or gross funny, or dang that's true funny.
That's not the worst he said or did. He showed another photo of Laura with two black eyes. The moron was commenting about an article in the Enquire that accuses the President of drinking again. He thought it funny so he flashed a picture of Mrs. Bush with black eyes as if proof of the accusation was true. This is all so disgraceful and especially for women who REALLY ARE beaten by drunken husbands. This man has no shame.
He is one of those rare people who is as near as I can tell, 100% scum.

Because Bill detached-sociopath Maher has never experienced paternal/maternal love doesn't make him an expert on love period. Maher is the epitome of a thing disguised as a human who makes excuses for paying for sex and calling it "love making" because he is void of intimacy and joy. He's a souless joke used as filler when fodder has been spread thin. He projects every time he opens his gaping mouth.
This is revolting, even for Bill Maher.
Ann Coulter, a friend of his, defended him the last time he put his foot in his mouth. I hope she doesn't try to defend him this time, as his remarks were indefensable.
Put Maher in front of his Kool-Aid swilling audience of "dope-smoking slackers" (Bill O'Reilly's term, for the Daily Show audience anyway) and he thinks his sh#t don't smell. Drop Maher in Fallujah with an M-16 and he'd have nothing but sh#t in his pants as ran looking for the nearest Marines to protect his sorry @ss.
Unfortunately, the downward path they are on does not have a bottom. IMO, they will ride this rail...to hell.
They know no shame...they have lost all concept of dignity.

Bill Maher is a piece of excrement.
Bill Maher is one of the most unfunny people on the face of the earth. His jokes are not funny about anything or anyone. I listened to a stand up routine of his once where he joked about Democrats a lot - didn't laugh a single time. He's not funny.
He's irrelevant probably fit only as a companion to Cindy Sheehadi
