And what evidence do you have that he is unqualified? Don't forget this man held the head FEMA position last year when we had a number of hurricanes ravage our gulf coast. He was recognized as a leader in the recovery efforts then. I think you should get your facts straight before "labeling" him unqualified. This man did a great job before during and now after his work at FEMA. If you have any evidence of his incompetence I would like to hear it.

a quid pro quo for Brown to keep silent.
You're a bit over the edge this evening, I'd say.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again, Michael Brown was the most experienced FEMA director in history.

Thank you.
I believew you have read and watched the chronology of the Katrina fiasco.
How can a person believe Brown did not do a good job?
Four hurricanes in Fl. last year, Repub. Gov. no complaints,
Miss. Repub. Gov. no complaints.
Evan when Shep Smith and Geraldo were screaming about no food, or babies starving the food was right there and the Gov. and the Mayor stopped it from entering NO. They didn't want more people coming to the Super Dome or the Con Center, but they kept on coming
Both the Red Cross and the Salvation Army were there with food, water, some medical supplies and other needs that the people needed.
I think Brown did a good job but the media was looking for anything to blame Bush and to keep the heat off the Dems. in La.

But once all of the hearings are done, Brown will be vindicated. This has been what I have always maintained from the moment he fell on the sword.

If Brown had qualifications before he was appointed head of FEMA and he had performed well during Katrina, he'd still be in charge. Unless of course, you think the President backed down to MSM pressure.FEMA had no problems, at least from the MSM standpoint in 2004 when Florida was inundated with 3 or 4 back to back hurricanes. (You just know they would point this out had there been any issues in Florida)
This time around though, it seems that whatever FEMA was alleged to have gone wrong happend in the Liberal corrupt state of Louisiana.

Admit it, Newbie. You are a left-wing troll whose sole purpose in this thread is to cover up the slander of Brown by the main stream media and other left-wing crazies.

The real question should be: Why does Bush keep giving the Dims and MSM reasons to make him look bad? I agree....we defend him tooth and nail and then he goes and makes a bad move.....like apologizing for Katrina when all the facts were still unknown.....very aggravating...

Philip, does this baseless attack mean you have no rebuttal to my last post? Juntos, there have been a miriad of rebuttals to your nonsense. Yet you continue to slander Brown.
This is no surprise considering some of your posts on other threads. For example, you posted the following on a thread exposing media hype at the superdome:
"So, it was ok for the other victims to be in the 'hell.' The other hurricane victims, but this man and his family were made safe by the guard. Protected and made safe. Why didnt the guard make the rest of the people safe." [link]
That is crazy talk, juntos. And how about this post by you regarding misuse of storm relief money?
"I hope the evacuees take the hint is that Texas is the worst possible place to be poor & black. This police investigation is the beginning of problems for the victims. I would take the FEMA money and get the hell out of TEXAS!"[link]
That bit of left-wing-style slander of Texas followed this 'brilliant' display of wisdom by you in reply to a remark that a special task force in Houston would be investigating the misuse of the FEMA cards:
"I think that is the real misuse. There are real crimes that are not being investigated by Houston PD. After a traumatic event the victims reach for distractions. I have no problem with the use of the cards for this." [link]
Admit it, juntos. You are a closet leftist.

That was a political decision by the President and not an operational decision for incompetence. As I mentioned, Michael Brown did an exemplary job in previous years and was singled out for his performance by the president and congress. I'm just not sure exactly what action or non-actions he exhibited to warrant blame.

Admit it, juntos. You cannot support your innuendo about Brown with facts because there are no facts to support your innuendo.
There is no need for you to admit that you are a closet leftist. That is obvious.

Hey, Mr. Stuck on Stupid....your arguments are such a dismal failure that you make Blanco and Nagin seem competent in comparison.
But I'm sure that you're too "Stuck On" to even learn your lessons today.
Still waiting for you to list FEMA's failures...but not holding my breath.
