I especially like this tidbit down at the bottom.
The Senate would give President Bush $50 billion more for war in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of a $440 billion defense spending measure a panel approved Monday. Reflecting a post-Hurricane Katrina debate about the role of the military in domestic affairs, the bill includes the defense appropriations subcommittee's opinion on when the military should get involved in natural disasters.
What the heck's another $50 billion? What's that make the amount spent now? This is going to be the most expensive democracy ever established in the history of the world. And a generation from now I doubt there will be anything to show for it
.....This is going to be the most expensive democracy ever established in the history of the world.....
It's gotta be expensive to not be allowed to kill anyone that's not wearing a uniform in the city streets, when you're not allowed to kill any citizen that's not a terrorist!
Bush doctrine: A terrorist is anyone who harbors a terrorist.
Decimate a few blocks of lots of Iraq cities, then see which Iraqis start pointing at the bad guys!
