Great pictures. cardinal, you will enjoy the Club Gitmo gear.
This is the email I just sent Brendan
Brendan, this is Bob Miller, concretebob on FreeRepublic. I am going to take one more stab at this and then I guess I'll just let it go. This past weekend my USMC Flag, which was hanging on the Protest Warrior tent at the Navy Memorial, was removed and used in the march. I stopped the individual who had removed it and informed him that it was my flag. He assured me he would return it immediately after the march. The flag was never returned. I saw at least two photos which had a USMC flag in them, one hanging on a section of barricade, the other being carried by two individuals in the street. Whether they were the same flag at different times, or two seperate flags, I do not know. I have several pictures showing my flag at seperate locations, including the W&M Freep, which you can access through my website (click SlideShow) and two seperate counter vigils at Walter Reed. Anyone at the DC Chapter of FreeRepublic will attest to the fact that I have placed a Marine Corps flag at our protests. May I impose upon you to take a few minutes and try to locate my flag? It woud mean a great deal. I purchased that flag for the express purpose of using it at Walter Reed on Friday nights. My dad was a Marine, as was my uncle, and I am a former Vietnam era Marine. I was very disappointed when the individual who used it broke his word. If we can't depend on each other, if a man's word is not his bond, then our movement doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell. If the words on that flag, "Duty, HONOR, Country" have no meaning to the individual who did not return it, then we may as well turn the whole damn street over to Code Pink and stay home. If the Marine Corps motto SEMPER FI, "Ever Faithful" is just two strange Latin words, then we are not the men we claim to be. I will be at Walter Reed this Friday, and every Friday until given further instructions by Kristinn. I will raise Old Glory as I always do, but there will be a hole where the EGA (Eagle Globe & Anchor) once flew. Sincerely, Bob Miller concretebob FreeRepublic SEMPER FI
Ohhh, my pics didn't turn out well. They'll need to be fixed up so it will take a few days. The digital disposable camera must have been hard to use because none of the shots is set up properly. So, I'm happy the shots I'm in are bad too!
B+ for effort, D for results.
Good thing we have some great photographers around.

NOTICE!!!!!
I do not want ANYONE, NO ONE, in the DC Chapter to replace my flag.
It is not your responsibility.
Please, let's see if this individual has any honor.
I ask this as a friend, and as someone who has finally found a place he can relax and enjoy the company of like-minded people.
Thank You
Bob
Sorry to hear of the missing flag.
We had many signs borrowed by other groups for pictures and even just to carry during the rally. I saw many of them being returned, just as promised.
There is so much sold, available for a donation, or given away at these events, it may be confusing to people who do not know how our group works.
I hope you will find these same people just did not realize the importance of the flag or the fact that it was personal property.
I am going to bet it can be found and returned to you.
Great job on the photos bmw!
That really stinks Bob. Hopefully, it will show up soon!
I so wish I could have been there, but I'm thankful there were 3 of us to show up in Denver on Saturday to support our troops and their mission, and stand up to the hate-America crowd.
We were slightly out numbered, but we have TRUTH on our side!
Thanks for the link! I'm in pic 074 of the Sunday rally gallery.
Well now that you have been through the DC Chapter School of Freeping, you can now give the left a bad day.
great job! how many did you have with you?
Ok. I fixed up the pics as best as I could. Maybe I should have read the directions before I used the camera. The quality I think is good enough esp. for a throwaway digital.
Here is what I think the link should be:

If it doesn't work please let me know.
