yes....I agree they are a danger to civilization. between them and the 'Islamic world wide threat', we are looking at a possible return to dark ages like those that followed the collapse of the Roman empire. Not a pretty picture<>P> That in a nutshell is the problem.
Specifically, what is the difference netween the population of the US and of the ME?
Transplant either citizen to the other region, and what happens? Is it the region, or the mindset? The reason they still live in tents with sand floors and no plumbing is not because they are inferior intellectually ounce for ounce in brain matter.
It is because they have chosen for 1400 years to praise and blame all on ALLAH (inshallah), rather than investigating, inventing, capitalizing, rewarding individual and innovative thought, and not letting the religion itself be the rule of law, but a private matter between one's self and thier GOD.

Okay - put a monkey in a jar and check back in about a million years and see if it evolved into a human.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, if you are then you
are descended from a monkey's (the
Rhesus monkey) ancestor in at least one gene :-)
Just part of the "Observation" mode.

The creationists on FR have been linking to darwinism-watch. Allahu Akhbar! That site rocks like a fully-loaded suicide martyr!

I am still not descended from a monkey. Not directly, of course. The apes intervene. In fact, there's no point at all getting excited over the monkeys considering the primitive primates, early mammals, mammal-like reptiles, amphibians, fish, chordates, bilateran metazoans, and pond scum. Compared to most of that, monkeys are pretty respectable.

I love these threads. Especially people showing they have no notion what they are talking about.

There are only two reasons a woman is still a virgin at such an age as Gumlegs's hoary houris. They're either lying -- or they're telling the truth.

Whether or not you believe ID should be taught, do you actually believe the ACLU is right in saying that this is UNCONSTITUTIONAL? You can fight ID on other grounds, but a teacher telling students about a book on ID they can read on their own time does not violate the first amendment.
To: mlc9852
You cannot force someone to believe as you do. In spite of years and years of evolution theory in public schools, the majority of people just don't buy it. I wonder why? For the same reason half the students don't know in which century the Civil War was fought, and the same reason newspapers carry astrology columns

And more amazing, at least to me, about 15 years ago 60% of high school students couldn't find the Pacific Ocean on a map.

You said you weren't descended from a monkey. Just pointing out at least one gene that says you are.
Have a nice day.
