On June 14, 2005 at 7:50 p.m. PDT a 7.2 magnitude quake struck off the coast of Northern California West of Trinidad, California.
The earthquake was strong enough to generate a Tsunami Warning for the coastal areas from the California-Mexico border to the North tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Thanks, forgot about that one. I remember now that some NW TV stations set up cameras at some beach locations hoping to catch a tsunami.
