Ok, I'm going to put on my little Tinfoil hat for a minute and say;

Maybe, just maybe, allowing the shut down of Able Danger was the price that President Bush was forced to pay in order to gain access into Louisiana after Katrina.

We know the President was held off by Governor Blanco at every turn. Some have said it was her incompetence but maybe not. We also know that the State of Louisiana's Homeland Security (Gov Blanco) refused to allow the Red Cross & the Salvation Army in to give food and water to the evacuees, some of which were dying because of it. And while we were all watching!

Oh Yes! The MSM was busy beating us all into a frenzy showing the poor helpless people and drumming into our heads the shouts and cries from Mayor Nagin, Governor Blanco for help. Help from the Federal Government, Bush! Yet we know that behind the camera Governor Blanco was refusing to allow the President to act. Why?

Then when Governor Blanco does allow the President to come in and save the people, all of a sudden the media is blaming FEMA for a supposedly slow response. (None of us were dumb enough to believe that line of bull crap, we all know better! We know it was Blanco. They got her on tape.)

Maybe, just maybe, the price President Bush was told that he must pay before he could save the lives of the people held there in New Orleans at the Superdome & the Convention Center, (by their own Democratic State Government) was that he must go along with the shutting down of the investigation into Able Danger.

Ok, Tinfoil hat removed. Carry on.

I have to say, this is a new tinfoil theory I've not seen before. Have to give credit for creativity, if nothing else.

As much as I am seriously dissapointed with out dear leader in DC, he's actually near the bottom of the "to blame" list for the Katrina disaster. Here's the official Bogo-the-political-asassin blame list:

1. Ray Nagin, the moronic mayor - a slightly yuppified pimp who would be better suited to shuttlin' 'ho's' around in his fine Cadillac.

2. Kathleen Blanco, the blithering, blubbering excuse of a Governess for Louisiana - Home of Huey Long

3. Bush's political hack, "Brownie", who did a "heck of a job" being an incompetent fool as head of FEMA.

4. Chertoff, the clueless DHS head in charge of "Brownie."

5. Our Dear Leader himself.

Now, going on about the looters and thugs who shoot at rescuers being the result of poverty which in turn was a legacy of slavery is quite LBJ-like as was the promise of untold billions in taxapyer largesse, but what would one expect from a "compassionate conservative" whose response to the permanent establishment of racial preferences was to parrot a Marxist slogan - "Diveristy is our Strength"?

I really have no fondness for leftists, irrespective of whether they are Republicans or Democrats. Some of us here aren't partaking of that 'delicious grape-flavored drink' being offered by those intrepid Republican leaders any more.

Good example of politics as usual. But maybe Able Danger dug up more than just Atta. Maybe it exposed more than they
are willing admit. I could possibly have implicated some very nasty things about our elected officials.

That is an interesting thought.

I'm still a little suspect of New Orleans G&F Tours though.

G&F Tours of New Orleans, Louisiana

We did see an article about a LA Congressman going back to his home to remove 'personal belongings'.

That may have been legit. People with resources will utilize them. But I can't help but wonder if he and others were busy removing items they didn't want to be seen by letting Feds in. That is my thoughts on the delays.

Yours is an interesting angle too though.

Maybe both? Blackmail isn't above the tactics of the left.
