On homeschool: You're right. you've got plenty of time to figure out a strategy. But figure out your philosophy of education, first. After that, you'll be fully equipped to determine whether a given venue is capable of provideing an education that meshes with your vision. If not, you'll just have to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself, at home. Fortunately, you'll have PLENTY of good company.

You're quite right. I'd forgotten all about philosophy of ed. We chose the classical approach (the trivium) and have been plugging away ever since.

I'm going to check out your links. Thanks for the tip.
