Did I just hear reporterette on Fox right?

Something about they're thinking of cancelling the evac order and letting people back into Houston and Galveston as early as tomorrow??

Given the experience with NOLA, isn't that just a tad premature??

No. It isn't below sea level, completely different situation. Especially considering that only a portion of the Houston-Galv. area will get even hurricane winds.

I don't think Houston has to worry about levee failure. So I would think it all depends on the damage already done. And reports seem to indicate it is not too extensive. Probably a lot of power problems though in some areas.

Houston and Galveston are above sea level, unlike the scumpit that is NO.

That probably depends on the path of the storm over land. If it hooks right, canceling the evac for those areas would be correct. If the storm stalls for a day or 2 and then hooks left, it would be premature.
