Five years after the controversial 2000 presidential election, ex-President Jimmy Carter now says he's certain Al Gore defeated George W. Bush.
"Well I would say that in the year 2000, the country failed abysmally in the presidential election process," Carter told a panel Monday at American University in Washington, D.C. "There's no doubt in my mind that Al Gore was elected president."

Well, give him some credit, he freed the hostage's in Iran while President.
After all, if Algore is the elected President, he may as well throw that in that he freed the hostage's also.
Let the Liberals and the MSM continue to believe that.
The real reason the Mullahs in Iran let the hostages go was ?
The fact that Reagan won the election in 1980, and they didn't want to deal with Reagan.

OMG Jimmy Carter is still around, when is this flake going to dry up and blow away? I joined the Army when he was President August 79 the Iranian Hostage crisis was hot...But, Thank GOD Reagan won, we were a sorry mess especially after the the rescue debacle, that was so embarrassing...But as soon as Ron got in there it was like night and day...Things improved in the Military within months, especially in Germany...If the Soviets would have attack before Reagan we would have been smoked in weeks, if not days...

I guess Jimmy still believes he actually won the election in 1980 also, and he's still bitter that Reagan stole the election from him.

How do we know Gore didn't really win?
I followed the post election fun here on FR. It seemed like there was a ton of Democrat fraud and election abuse. But if there was so much Fraud and Abuse why didn't the Republicans pursue the matter after the election? Did Bush ever defend himself against the slanderous charges of election thievery after his swearing in? It seems like an honest man would have rebutted the charges.

Someone said, "Bill Clinton is not the worst president, but he is the worst person to BE president."
Jimmah, OTOH, qualifies as the worst president.
It's a wonder this Republic has survived.

Well Jimmah! You senile old bass turd. I'M "certain" President Bush beat your moron, Algore. Looks like a draw. I win due to the fact that my guy is in the Oval Office. Yours is out there bloviating, hyperventilating and getting fat.

I think the guy ( the Liberals/Democrats/MSM ) must just sit around trying to think up ways to do mischief.
