That only works if the media publicizes it. Texas cops shooting "desperate poor people" toting computers and TVs on the streets? I think they'll publicize it. Especially if the local officials back up the cops. I don't know anything about her, but that mayor of Galveston looks like she'd shoot a few looters herself.
