thx, did a drive to check things out further inland, winds not bad yet inland, funny what a difference a block or two makes, blowing like hell here, but much lighter a block or two inland.

Ch 2 said 35 at Kemah. Reporter Courtney Zavala is in Galveston and was breathless when the wind started - they asked her how fast the windspeed was - it was 18mph! (Probably knots, lol. What's that? 21 mph?)
