Vermont sent 12 ambulances to Texas yesterday or the day before. They had been asked for 25 but couldn't spare that many. We're a small state with only a few hospitals - 25 ambulances is probably half of the entire state inventory!

How in the world can all the forecasters be so wrong? Supposedly a catastrophic storm! Millions evacuated! If this thing fizzles, who in their right mind would ever listen to the "hurricane" experts again? I guess better safe than sorry, but what a mess. For crying out loud...half the country's been praying for this very thing and you're complaining?
