Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

I am tired of "give me, give me, give me and we expect you to pay for it" I am tired of the leftists and their press from exploiting the situation. I don't understand how we can possibly rebuild New Orleans and pay for it when we know it could happen again yet I sure wouldn't want to lose my home. If the corrupt officials would be tried and thrown behind bars, I would feel more like trying to rebuild the area but right now, there is no doubt in my mind that those corrupt officials are going to steal as much of that money as they possibly can.

Thanks, that's what I thought. It's still too far away to be giving us any grief in this part of the state. I'd call her, but she would be SOOO embarrassed.
