O'Reilly arguing with Weasley Clark.
Duh?
CNN is outrageous. As they were speaking to the Houston Chief of Police, and he was explaining how the highways were cleared today and things were fine, they're showing what appears to be yesterday's footage of gridlocked freeways implying that's what is happening now. That's not freedom of the press, it's deliberate misinformation. Can't the public be protected from this?
Can't imagine why looters would do such a thing after CNN and the rest of the cable clueless wonders announced that LEO had bugged out of Port Arthur.
they have been doing that all day.
Good advice, that's what I did growing up. If there aren't too many of you then I think the bathtub is probably the best bet - with something like a mattress over you. Of course only a twin size would probably fit in there! The pipes from the plumbing make it a strong location.
Stay safe.
How do you post here

I must be missing something :) There isn't a "post" option?
So what am I missing.
Clark, Sheehan, and congressman Rangel are formulating the exit strategy for iraq - negotiate with iran and syria.
you can't make this stuff up people.
KPLC just reported a transformer explosion outside their studio. They lost the streaming feed for a few seconds - retained audio. Reporting power lost in the area around the studio.
Unless it ia a story that stands by itself, it is best to just comment on this thread.
I guess they will stop with the "missed us" reporting!
Not here.
Ha! I had forgotten about that!
I saw Clark and I used the clicker.
Prayers for Texas. I expect that we will all be proud of how they handle this.
Welcome to Free Republic AlleyCat48. There's another one of you out there - a real weather weenie. Watch out for him/her!
I guess it's just on my end then. I have DSL and it's fine right now but it gets real slow like I've lost connection. Darn the lights just dimmed a second. Funny. I'm gonna be really mad if I lose electricity while here when power companies can keep it on for yall during a hurricane.
