Dangerous Hurricane Rita is expected to make landfall in the northeast Gulf of Mexico within 24 hours. Tornados have spawned in Louisiana. Water is filling the Ninth Ward of New Orleans again. A bus carrying elderly evacuees was gutted by fire this morning outside Dallas, with multiple fatalities. Television crews have positioned their hurricane reporters throughout the region to attain maximum drama effects. Whoooooa.

Nope....but then I know Eaker and his troops and his safety record.........uh oh....er ahh , all joking aside it's a safe posed grin for freepers from long time friend Eaker. Aside he shoots his kid he loses a tax deduction and the Mom would kill him !.....:o)
Eaker if yer gonna post some dangerous pics for us go down to Ricks on Wiesenheimer er what ever that main shopping street is called and get me a few snapshots of all those ladies that polish the brass poles in their undies !!
Thank you. We're about 60 miles inland and out of the flood zone, so I feel much safer. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm on dialup but still have electricity. Don't know how long that'll last.
Damn it! Damn it! Daaaaamn iiiiiiit!
Yes - I lived in South America and this is what they tell you to do.
oh brother.....will he find any stranded people on a bridge? And wasn't he in Galveston, earlier?
Looking for Live Scanner Links, Non-WinAmp.
The one's I'm finding so far are all not up and running.
Thanx
I haven't gone anywhere the past couple of days, but I notice that the clouds are interesting now, and it's getting breezy in NW Austin.
Brit is never on his show on Friday anyway. Jim Angle or Brian Wilson always do a good job.
I'm sure he will find some stranded cat or dog to present before the cameras.
I think we have a verifiable pattern, eh?
Best part of a Typhoon Party on Guam & the PI as I remember em....:o)

Karl can you help?
Hit the curse jar... that will be three bucks please.
Rita appears to be gaining strength. She is a powerful hurricane this evening. Storm surge will likely TOP 20 feet in some areas. There is a serious threat of a devastating storm surge across a large portion of Louisiana. Catastrophic damage is likely with this powerful hurricane.
Latest satellite images indicate that cloud tops are very cold and wrapping around the eye - she is impressive this evening. Lightning data shows fresh strikes right around the center. Temperature inside the eye has also risen. These are indications of a hurricane that is likely getting stronger - defin not losing strength.
She is a killer cane.
Isn't Brit off on Fridays anyway?
Hiya Valerie, good to hear from you.
Stay safe.
1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water and wait at least 30 minutes before drinking.
OMG! Shep has dogs!
LOL, OMG Shep has dogs on his show. Damn I called that one right.
I'm streaming now......
