CONROE - Police are trying to locate the family of a 10-year-old Pasadena boy who was left behind at a convenience store Thursday afternoon as relatives continued their evacuation trek.
Conroe police spokesman Sgt. Bob Berry said the family was traveling in a five-car caravan from Pasadena headed to Dallas when they stopped in Conroe.
He said the family members went into the store as a group but apparently did not do a head count when they left and got back into their cars.
The boy told police he turned around and his family was gone.

Joe Dirt?
LOL! My very FIRST thought!!
GEORGE BUSH DID IT AGAIN
It happened to me, too. Sixteen times in a row. I'm thinking Mom was trying to send a message there...
Very good point. Ah, those were the good ole days.
Pardon me- It was Bush's fault.
LOL! He certainly is the most powerful man in the world!
But what about Karl Rove?

Home Alone 17???
I had a cousin that was left behind when he went to the bathroom in a Shreveport casino. The main difference was, he was nearly 60, and his 40ish wife and her friends left him on purpose.
LOL - great point.
That was almost as good as the time I packed up all their clothes they kept leaving on the floor and put them in the back of the truck. I told them I was going to give them to some kids that would appreciate them. After they were reduced to tears and begging, I "gave in".
Ahhhhh....memories : )
I remember that...
If I remember correctly Jesse Jackson said that was because the Reagan tax cuts made Joseph and Mary homeless.
"The boy" "The Family"
No names? No pic?
Guess they are not trying to find that family to hard are they?
Blame Mayor Nagin!
Should be able to parlay this into one great Xmas present.
