***PLA Generals Convert Boeing Jet Into Flying HQ ***
The Chinese army has converted a U.S.-made airliner into an advanced military command aircraft. The conversion is a direct violation of U.S.-Sino trade agreements and U.S. export laws. Officials at the U.S. State and Commerce departments refused to comment on the illegal Chinese modification.
Photographs of the converted jet surfaced earlier this year and were the subject of an article by investigative reporter Bill Gertz. Now new, close-up photos of the converted jetliner have appeared. The aircraft, identified as a Boeing 737, tail number B-4052, was sold to China United Airlines (CUA) in 1990 by Indonesia. Xian Aircraft Corporation modified the jet airliner into a flying command post for the Chinese army.
One prominent feature of the new airborne command post is a satellite antenna fairing on top of the forward fuselage. Two more data link and communication fairings are located underneath the mid-section of the fuselage.
The aircraft now serves the Chinese army and is intended to fly PLA commanders during war. The 737 is intended to allow a PLA crew of generals and staff to fly close to a battlefield, issuing commands to their army, navy and air force from the airborne headquarters.

According to a 1994 U.S. military report, the Clinton administration was aware that China United Airlines was owned by the PLAAF. Documentation obtained using the Freedom of Information Act shows that China United Airlines is actually one of several businesses wholly owned and operated by the PLAAF.
"China United Airlines (CUA) is a commercial entity of the PLA Air Force," states a 1994 report on the Chinese military issued by Lt. Col. Dennis Blasko, former U.S. defense attaché to Beijing.

China United Airlines also operates a sophisticated spy aircraft for the PLAAF, again using the CUA peacetime paint scheme as flying camouflage. China United Airlines aircraft B-4138, a Russian-made TU-154M three-engine airliner, flies under an international civilian number as a passenger plane.
However, defense analysts confirmed that B-4138 is actually a Chinese air force spy plane equipped with a sophisticated radar and communications equipment. The heavily modified TU-154M airliner is equipped with an array of communications antenna on the rear and a huge radar dome on the bottom of the aircraft.
bttt
And these are the guys we are relying upon to help us get the North Koreans to observe their obligations under international treaties and other agreements?
A small step from a cowardly pilot who allowed the capture by the chinese communists of one of America's most sophisticated spy planes.
There was a reason why he did NOT tell the crew in back that they were headed to china -- they would have destroyed the plane (as trained) way before they got close to the shore.
So now .....
The gift which keeps on giving...
What are we going to do about it? Not a damn thing.
Perhaps I read too much Tom Clancy, but is it possible that we did this on purpose, providing a Trojan horse so that we could listen in on all their communications?
Volley bump!
'A small step from a cowardly pilot who allowed the capture by the chinese communists of one of America's most sophisticated spy planes'
He was also awarded the DFC by the Navy, and then went on to write a book about it. The term 'hero' has certainly been devalued over the years.
This has been a problem for a while. What else would you expect from a commie.

I know the orders the crew in back operate under --- the pilot is no more than a bus driver on these missions with zero access to what goes on in that aircraft.
Of course they "know" what the people in the back of the plane are doing - but even the pilots have their orders to NEVER allow the plane to be captured. They also know that the crew in back WOULD begin to destroy all equipment and documents and destroy the aircraft in the process if there was a possibility of capture.
The pilot made his consciuous decision NOT to tell the crew in back.
Those in the rear of the plane (there are no windows!) didn't realize the pilot had surrendered to the chinese until they were in the final approach.
They were still trying to destroy their equipment and other documents when the communist chinese surrounded the plane and would have shot them all if they didn't stop the destruction.
Common sense at this point makes it irrelevant to keep trying to destroy the materials --- if they are dead, the chicoms just walk in and pick up the classified materials. So they stopped and stayed alive.
Typical of the military - it was either hang the pilot or decorate him - decorating is more "appropriate for officers" than hanging. Like "Sandy Burglar" & "bill & hillary" - they all deserve the firing squad but ....
How much of the Chinagate scandal don't we know about?
Torjan? You mean listening device. A trojan is pratically a keylogger which collect data on you in your pc. It steals your passwords ect.
BTTT.
Not sure where you get your info, but it isn't accurate.
It's known as "The People's Kill All Americans Luxury Command Post." :-)
