Of course. The contraflow cleared out the jams in three hours.

But the media have their story, and they'll pimp it even as people are driving out of Houston at the posted speed limits.

That has to be a first for Houston. :) I'm laughing my head off at media comments about the traffic jam. The Houston freeways are often parking lots even on normal days.

Hmmmm .. could it be because Texas started preparing for the storm 5 days in advance instead of the day before it hits???
