In modern war, the enemies of the American military suffer a casualty rate that is easily 10 times what we suffer. In some situations, I believe it approaches 100 times our casualty rate.

And my big fear is that in all the world, China is perhaps the only country that would still consider a war to be acceptable if casulty rates were kept below, let's say, the 20 million mark.

We'd cut and run long before China registered any pain.

you couldn't strategically fight the Chinese on a one to one basis....

It would be an interesting fight with the chicoms that is for sure
