Perhaps the roads will be less crowded in the wee hours.

Roads are packed, I fell sorry for those stuck on the highways, I bailed, I am very happy to be home, stuck on the on the side of the road, out of gas, out of food, and kids, pets,etc all freaking out is a nightmare and then Rita rolls in. Very bad, I will take my chances at home, now a goast town, but Rita is tracking east of San Leon so I am a happy camper.

A bunch of friends hit the highways at 11 am, they have been driven for 12 hrs and have not yet made it out of Houston. I am more worried about them than I am worried about me.
