Ck out the water vapor loop. You'll see the dry air being sucked into Rita. Houston local weather guy on KHOU continues to show Rita sucking the dry air into her. Pressure continues to rise in her. She's weakening and will continue to. She's so strong but any weakening is a blessing.

Here was my prediction yesterday at 9:30 Central time.
"That is what is so strange right now in Houston. I have lived in Houston most of my life and have never felt heat like this in September with very low humidity. My own prediction is once this thing starts to get close to land, the dry air will suck the energy out of this thing. I think it will be a true miracle of God."
Should I become a weather meteorologist or play the lottery today?
