All 6 out of 6 computer model predictions show Houston getting it. If you are in Houston or a bit east i would run away for sure!

If you are in Houston or a bit east i would run away for sure! It is gridlock there now...and stations are either closing or running out of gas according to news reports. Of course, this is all Bush's fault...he should never have given Karl Rove that weather machine. /sarc

I think some of your model runs are out of date.
UKMET is way to the east now.

I live in the inner loop 610 area (Houston Heights). You cannot get out of this city right now, I had intentions of sneaking out early (before sunup) and going 36 north to Abilene, but that has become an evac route. I am not about to get on a Freeway here!
So I'll be here riding out the storm, thank god it's moving more NE now. There is just no way out at this time!

Check out the model indicated by the blue line...
Its gonna hit NOLA from the north side.
< hit head repeatedly with picture of Cindy Sheehan>
Its that evil George Bush...he's sending out hurricanes to kill all the blacks...I don't know how he does it, but the hurricanes are now actually searching them out.
< stop hitting head>
Ow. I hate it when that happens.

Can't run at this point. There is very little gas to be found. Hundreds of thousands of cars pack the highways and are running out of fuel. Locals are calling into the television station telling their traffic stories. Some have spent 12 hours in the car to be only one hour of normal travel time away from home.
The smart move is to bunker down and finish your storm preparations at home.
