Who is Steele?

Lt. Gov of MD. Bill Bennett has talked to him several times on his radio show a very bright guy. Dems hate him because he's conservative and black and has held a relatively high elected office.

When he ran with our Governor the hometown paper, "The Baltimore Sun" referred to as "The Baltimore Scumpapers", ran an editorial saying, "... all Mr. Steele brings to the ticket is the color of his skin." A leading Maryland legislator, Mr. Mike Miller, President of the house, referred to Mr. Steele as "an Uncle Tom." At an election rally the supporters of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend threw OREO cookies at Mr. Steele when he and his wife and kids arrived.
