You can see all kinds of things on credit reports. Payment patterns, debt balances, payment amounts, other inquiries, bankruptcies, credit score, open lines of credit. Heck, just them running a credit report decreases the credit score a few points......

Chuck's only involvement was to report this matter to the authorities immediately after first learning about it. The DSCC immediately ensured that Mr. Steele's credit report was not used or disseminated to anyone.
If true, I am amazed, and both Chuck and the DSCC have gone up a notch in my book. They're still near the very bottom though.

Having owned two Credit Bureaus, I can tell you that they are in
serious trouble. You must have a permissible purpose to obtain a credit report. There are
very strict laws forbidding unauthorized people obtaining someone's credit report. Prison and huge fines are penalties for committing these crimes. IF there were 5 or more people involved, they can bust them on the RICO ACT (Organized crime).
We need to know who pulled the report for them. If it was a company that has a credit terminal in their office, I would be willing to bet that they know someone who works there and that person actually pulled it for them. IF I'm right, that's at least 3 people right there. All they need are 2 more people and they're going to do some serious prison time. Figure the odds that others in their committee/group didn't know about it. They're looking at Identity theft, illegally obtaining a credit report, and fraud, all felonies, at a minimum.

From the WBAL report:
Collins reported that the two employees have since resigned and committee officials said they have destroyed the document. So if they destroyed the evidence, then they are also guilty of destroying evidence and obstruction of justice charges.
Wouldn't it be nice if our brand new shiny Atty. Gen. had enough ba!!s to go after these Democraps and follow through with full prosecution?
What's that? When icicles are growing in Hades, you say... I agree.
When will the "Republicans" grow a set??

Someone in the local rat party made a comment similar to "...well we've got to give Steele credit..." These two bimbos thought, "If we're going to give him credit--we've got to pull his credit report..."
See? Totally legitimate purpose. At least that's what any rat judge these two will appear before will say.

During the Clinton junta a junior campaign dirty tricks specialist received & entered onto a White House computer over 1500 dossiers of members of Congress, the press corp,Judges, family members of these people . Claiming it was for Christmas card mailing list. The problem was the computer they were loaded onto was part of a "wide area network" & the main server/host computer was in DNC headquarters the Federal authorities never recovered/made certain that the info in the dossiers was deleted. The FBI delivered the dossiers on orders from the first lady.

Btw, I thought it was the called the 'Anti-American' Democratic Crime Syndicate? I guess it's interchangeable.
