"Lt. Gov. Steele was extremely disturbed to learn about the alleged criminal identity theft of his personal finance records by (a staff member of U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y.,) at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Katie Barge, one of the senior research officials with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee who resigned after it was discovered that she and another woman may have illegally obtained the credit report of Maryland Lt. Governor most recently worked at Media Matters for America. The seasoned political operative also worked for the failed presidential campaign of John Edwards according to Source Watch.

And.........what happened to Pres. Nixon when his employees went where they didn'[t belong to get information against political rivals?
Why aren't we hearing screaming from Capital Hill Republicans insisting on a full investigation into Schumer and his associates going back at least 5 years??
Oh! that's right, we don't have any "real" Republicans on Capital Hill to do that sort of thing.
