The investigation into a missing Virginia Commonwealth University freshman from Vienna took a new turn Wednesday.
Police filed unrelated charges against a person questioned in the student's disappearance.
Police searched the apartment of 38-year-old photographer Ben Fawley as part of a child pornography investigation, according to court documents. According to the search warrant, investigators went to Fawley's apartment looking for images and documents related to child pornography and the distribution of child pornography. Investigators said they took away at least five computers and an assortment of computer equipment.
Fawley is a friend of 17-year-old Taylor Behl, who has been missing for 16 days. His lawyer, Chris Collins, said that there are indications that Fawley and Behl had an intimate relationship. Collins said that Fawley saw Behl on the day she disappeared but had nothing to do with the disappearance. He also said the pornography investigation has nothing to do with Taylor Behl.

I find it interesting that in one of her journal entries that she doesn't like being at her dad's house (with his girlfriend and her son) and wants to be back home where she is "safe." Is there some history of problems with her family and she sought out people like Ben to help get away from that?

I saw Taylor's best friend on TV talking to Greta. She said that Taylor knew the guy was an ex-con.
Apparently one of the really glaring issues here is that the girl knew he was a low-life and still had a relationship with him.
Supposedly, her dad dropped her off to stay overnight at some guy, Mike's house who was Fawley/Skulz's roommate back in April. What was HE thinking?

That's a weird site. Thanks for posting it. I'm still not sure exactly what he was afraid might get him arrested. And the police were following him then. This man doesn't sound like he's up to any good. And I believe that I heard Taylor's mom say that Taylor had decided she didn't want to see him any more, that she liked her new boyfriend Jake. I think she must have told him that. And the dog scent went into the house of a friend of his. Not good at all.
Just read that site again. He goes into abandoned lots and buildings. Could Taylor be in one of them? I assume that the police are looking...
I was wondering the same thing. It seems he's gotten in trouble with police for going into abandoned places to take pictures. I think that's what the police reference in that journal was about. He certainly would know of lots of places to hide her.
But I'm also wondering about this kid that "failed" 2 questions on the polygraph. What's his connection to this and if there is none, why the problem with the polygraph?

I think you've nailed it.
Was it a kid who failed the polygraph? The skateboarder? Was he a friend of Fawley's? Or did she just meet him at the restaurant that night? I get confused when I listen to Taylor's mom. She doesn't seem to have the facts straight either. I thought the father was a lot more credible, certainly much better spoken, but then I read what she wrote about his home in her diary. Such a beautiful young woman. I hope they find her. Alive.
Supposedly, the two questions this guy failed were:
Did he know Taylor?
Had he ever been in a car with her?
The kid that failed the polygraph was one of the skateboarders and doesn't know Fawley.
